The SOFIns Project was started in May 2008 by Jon Jaroker to change the way IT services and software are deliver from technical experts to non-technical users. The ideas behind SOFIns are based on his experiences in delivering IT support to end-users, integrating communications and billing subsystems systems and leading software-development projects.

SOFIns objectives are to become a trusted intermediary and marketplace where experts define technical procedures once, and the SOFIns system deploys those procedures numerous times in a reproducible and automated manner that combines the site-specific and confidential information belonging to the user with the original set of instructions crafted by the expert.

SOFIns is a concatenation of SOFTWARE + INSTALLATION and represents a new way to deliver IT services that competes with the manual approach taken today.
